Job Description

GDIT is looking for a multi-skilled electronics/technician to support the Naval Special Warfare's STRIDENT program

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in:

- Ability to read electrical schematics

-Assemble and connect system components with cables and other mating interfaces

- Build test cables by soldering and crimping terminating ends

- Troubleshoot cabling, wiring, and other electronic hardware

-Update system hardware and software as new iterations are released

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to execute technical tasks

  • Perform system functional tests and document findings
  • Maintain inventory on systems, subsystem components, and associated items
  • Understand or have interest in diving and underwater systems
  • Motivated self-starter

 

Education: 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
