At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a SCRUM Master Advisor coordinates and monitors the scrum process from initiation through delivery.
Experience in a Scrum Master role for at least 1 year for a software development team that applied Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
Experience with ITSM principles and ITIL best practices.
Leadership skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
Software development and release management experience.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Working and applicable knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, etc.
Experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach.
Participates in special projects as required.
BA/BS or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience with 8+ years of related experience.
Scrum Master Certification
Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client, all candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
