P/T - Core Hours Daily 9-3/Mon-Fri: The Customer requires a Special Assistant (SA) with high levels of autonomy and discretion, as well as initiative. It is a dynamic, team oriented work environment in which many of the activities are short notice and very high priority. The staff interacts with 25 different Organization policy offices and the COO, himself, so professionalism is paramount. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required as the SA is expected to manage communications to the policy workforce utilizing email, the webpage, and other forms of electronic media. The SA will be responsible for all scheduling, meeting support, document preparation, and serving as liaison between the Senior Executive and others. The SA is expected to be present during core office hours (9:00 -3:00). The SA must be proficient on key Sponsor Organization IT systems including the access-request system, procurement system, conference room finder, Sponsor Internal Communication system and supply system, as well as Outlook and MS Office. Prior Sponsor Organization experience with these systems is preferred. In addition, the SA must be willing to learn a Customer-specific regulatory and governance system in order to help track internal issuance coordination.
