GDIT is looking for a Systems Analyst Expert to perform the following roles and responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

Position Responsibilities

  • Project Management of the data warehouse effort, to include oversight of the development and management teams.
  • Work with customer to define reporting requirements.
  • Map source documents/files to database tables, and write mapping documentation.
  • Define and develop metrics to measure key business indicators
  • Identify development or data modeling roadblocks, and propose effective solutions.
  • Written and oral status reporting to Executives.
  • Build MicroStrategy reports as needed.
  • Use of Agile tools for tracking and incident reporting.
  • Experience supporting Payment Card Industry (PCI) Applications

Required Skills
  • 10+ Years’ experience managing projects/services in operational modes.
  • 10+ Years’ experience leading technical teams; specifically, data modeling and database management teams in an Agile environment.
  • 10+ Years’ experience with data modeling.
  • 10+ Years’ experience with Business Requirements Gathering and Analysis.
  • Strong experience with Business Intelligence tools (i.e. MicroStrategy; Qlik). 
  • Strong experience with SQL queries and commands (i.e., Selects; join; filter; group by).
  • Strong experience designing and deploying Dashboards for business customers.
  • Strong experience with database ETL process.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL development languages (i.e., Oracle; Teradata; Microsoft).
  • Knowledge of database tools (i.e., performance tuning; database monitoring).
  • High proficiency in dimensional Modeling techniques and application.
  • Experience communicating with executives.
  • Experience writing technical documentation. 
  • Knowledge of network basics (i.e., routers, firewalls, IP Whitelisting; etc.).
  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
  • The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past 5 years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.
