Software Development Manager roles and responsibilities include: ​

  • Provides front line management of software engineers supporting various programs.

  • Provides program/project management to include performance monitoring, support, risk management and reporting.

  • Ensures and monitors quality of work products.

  • Ensures adherence to Engineering process, leveraging or creating best practices. Program task management, team guidance and staffing.

  • Forecasts workload and supports talent acquisition activity.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer, Systems, Electrical), or related field.

  • Minimum of 6 years applicable experience. 

  • Experience executing the engineering project life cycle including: requirements analysis, design, development, integration, validation, verification and sustainment

  • DoD experience is desired

  • Secret Clearance is REQUIRED

The likely salary range for this position is $103,272 - $172,453, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
