The candidate will be responsible for the below job duties:

  • Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests engineering specifications for software programs and applications
  • Works with customers to elicit and document their requirements for updates, enhancements and corrections
  • Work collaboratively with team whether co-located or geographically dispersed
  • Independently identifies additional efforts needed for the project
  • Works with development team on strategies to implement customer requirements within the confines of existing application architecture
  • Monitor customer requests and application releases
  • Manages work efforts on special projects
  • Works with team members to create level of efforts for potential projects
  • Maintains electronic records for development efforts, product enhancements, periodic updates, software releases, customer-reported issues for approximately 10 applications
  • Leads and facilitates meetings across a contractor and government employee team
  • Works with developers and testers to ensure development efforts are fully tested
  • Provides updates to GDIT management on project and application status
  • Participates in monthly In Process Review (IPR) meetings with GDIT and customer management


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS, 8+ years’ experience


5 years’ experience within the last 8 years

Support the SEC Services Directorate.
Provides functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems, including, but not limited to application software, utility software, development software, and diagnostic software. Participates in the development of test strategies, devices, and systems. Solving engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned.
Experience with AGILE SCRUM methodologies is required to support Business Applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with AGILE SCRUM methodologies.
  • Experience with .NET, C#, SQL Server and Web Development
  • Team Foundation Server experience is a Plus
  • Development and Business Analysis Experience helpful
  • Security Clearance - Secret
