The resource will have a high level of autonomy and discretion to handle issues as they arise throughout the day combining transactional work with the opportunity to problem solve on dynamic requirements. The AA IV will be responsible for managing senior principals schedules by reviewing, vetting, and prioritizing requests ensuring there are no conflicts. In maintaining scheduled appointments the AA will provide agenda cards, follow protocol procedures for contacting principals, answer phones, refer calls to appropriate resources, make appointments, travel arrangements, and plan respective itineraries. The candidate will need to track, assign, and respond to actions between the principals and other organizational executives. The resource shall have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as they will represent the front office in a variety of communication mediums, however, most often in email correspondence, instant messenger and telephone. Research and prepare background information, talking points, and/or other documentation regarding meeting attendees and/or topics of interest for senior officials. Prepare all interview packets, promotional or award panels, coordinate with foreign-located personnel as it pertains to actions and general support needs.
