Our work depends on a SharePoint Team Lead joining our team to support USAMRDC activities at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD.

At GDIT, we foster a people-centric environment. As a SharePoint Lead you will be trusted to lead the management, planning, development, information and analysis, and administration of USAMRDC SharePoint resources. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Support the administration and management of SharePoint and/or other content management systems.
  • SharePoint Management in the form of planning, development, implementation, integration, administration, training, and analysis.
  • SharePoint Planning to provide Scope, architecture, and license planning to include pre-implementation planning, version upgrade planning, analysis of current hardware and software requirements, and integration planning into existing systems such OpenText Content Server.
  • SharePoint Development for design, development, testing, and deployment of SharePoint portal including advanced features, forms development dashboarding, and related services.
  • SharePoint Information and Analysis Support for business process and workflow automation requirements, content development and provisioning, documentation, and user training to include advanced feature capabilities, and workflow.
  • SharePoint Administration for server farm, and supporting of MS SQL server database comprehensive administration support, configuration support, development, testing and production installation and configuration, security and user management, configuration updates, backup and restore, and other maintenance support.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Possess active 8570.01-M baseline certification(s) Security+ CE, CND or equivalent
  • Experience with the following software, products, and concepts.
    • SharePoint Server, MS SQL Server, SharePoint server farms
      • Installation, administration, configuration, upgrade, and security
      • SharePoint development best practices and guidelines (Including customizations & ASP.NET integration)
      • Forms development, Content/Document management
      • Workflow development, Dashboarding/Reporting, Advanced Search
      • User and group management, license management
    • Security: DoD STIG, IAVA, RMF, ATO, HBSS/HIPS
