With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a Mobile Device Management (MDM) Administrator that can work independently – please read below!

The Information Systems MDM Administrator is a strong, self-motivated, solution-oriented individual who will spearhead provisioning and managing mobile devices system while providing system administration for the platforms it resides on. They will be joining an experienced team to support the implementation and sustainment of new technologies. We are looking for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic candidate to join us in delivering high quality IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy mobile device Management (MDM) solutions to meet CSfC security requirements.
  • Create and provision mobile device settings, profiles, and certificates.
  • Primary resource for Mobile Device Management, uses subject matter expertise to analyzes customer requirements, provide issue resolution, determine optimal system solutions, and troubleshooting abilities for problem management, to include tier 1 to 3 customer support requests.
  • Responsible for resource coordination with 24/7 team to ensure customer forward facing mission critical manning requirements are maintained for multi-lateral network services. Communicates changes of support with management, leads, and business relationship managers for global knowledge continuity.
  • Manages the development and administration schedule and performance requirements.
  • Collaborates with technical leads, engineers, and provides leadership to team and government customer. Provides system/equipment/specialized MDM training and guidance.
  • Develops and/modifies process and technical documentation. Creates back-up procedures, test plans, and related reports.
  • Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
  • Evaluates existing systems to ensure the capacity meets current and future mobile devices requirements.
  • Monitor systems and supporting networks performance and engages in troubleshooting and resolution of issues to maintain operating efficiency and quality transmission of services.
  • May provide installation, maintenance and repair of network hardware and software.
  • Plans and diagrams the physical layout and location of devices and the connection between devices participating on the network.
  • Evaluates and recommends system product and software upgrades.
  • Achieve and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guide compliance (STIG).
  • Review, analyze, and verify current security configuration and effectiveness in response to DOD requirements and emerging threats.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Will require work support to include evenings, weekend, and holidays as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of related experience as a system administrator supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting MDM systems.
  • Experience with current models of phones and tablets.
  • Must have experience with troubleshooting mobile device issue such as bugs, enhancements, user interface problems, and enrollments in a Mobile Device Manager (MDM).
  • BA/BS in related field, additional experience may substitute for degree.
  • Must have active/current TS/SCI clearance.
  • This position is deemed a DoD IA Workforce, IAT Level II position and requires 8570/8140 compliance. A candidate must meet the following requirements:
    • Baseline – Security+ CE, CySA+. Higher certifications such as CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, or CISSP are acceptable.
    • Compute – a relevant certification related to Mobile Device Management.
  • Familiarity with government best practices surrounding mobile devices.
  • Strong understanding of servers, configuration, and maintenance; Windows Server 2016/2019

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience organizing, directing, and managing operations and maintenance IT network support functions involving multiple, complex, and related tasks.
