How You’ll Make this Internship Opportunity Your Own
Our Engineering Internship is designed to make a direct impact on a broad variety of projects and help to co-create and deliver successful solutions to GDIT’s clients. As an Engineering Intern, you’ll play a key part in supporting engineering projects that will support our company's goal and have a lasting impact on our clients.
A Day in the Life
Performs basic engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems for commercial, government, military and/or scientific uses.
Assist with analyzing customer requirements and provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate complexity.
Learn to maintain equipment and/or systems integrity while ensuring compliance with policies.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Coordinate hardware and software acquisition.
Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline from a United States-based college or university or high school
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams)

GDIT interns are paid and full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks. Applicants should have a minimum of one semester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. Take the first step and apply today!

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $18.52 - $30.94, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
