work depends on a Configuration Analyst with Asset Management joining our team to

support our government client’s  activities in the Northern Virginia locations.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Configuration Analyst with Asset Management supports and provides configuration management support to assigned projects.

  • Manages the Configuration Items within this large-scale IT Service Ecosystem comprised of Cloud Hosting, Desktop, Networks, Cyber Security, and Operations and Maintenance Service Provider contracts.
  • Performs regular audits of the configuration management and asset management baseline.
  • Works closely with the IT Service Integrator and service provider configuration management and asset managers to incorporate any relevant changes rolled into the operational baseline.
  • Helps integrate the configuration management tracking / Change Management systems, ensuring all changes to the operational environment can be traced through the documentation and approval process.
  • Facilitates Government and contract reviews/boards approving Requests for Changes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Product Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Participates in special projects as required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience.

8+ years experience directly related experience in configuration and asset management.

Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client, all candidates must hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
