We are seeking a highly motivated administrator with a thirst for learning to support a geographically dispersed, state of the art network.  This network supports web based collaboration to our large enterprise customer base. Candidates with proven depth in web design and web administration of Microsoft SharePoint will succeed in our environment.  SharePoint development and programming skills to include experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML, or other areas of programming are highly desired.  The SharePoint Administrator will support the deployment and maintenance of site collections within multiple SharePoint environments.  The position will also support migration efforts from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint 2019. The primary responsibilities will be to support the SharePoint environments, but will also be providing Tier 1-2 support for non-SharePoint web applications and web sites.



  • Provides SharePoint Web Administration Tier 2-3 support to all SharePoint users

  • Ability to create and or troubleshoot the following: Site Permissions, Master Pages, Web Parts, Workflows, InfoPath Forms, Lists, site templates, etc.

  • Perform testing for and assist with site migrations from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint 2019

  • Knowledge of SharePoint 2019 modern pages and upgrading from the classic experience to the modern experience

  • Work with the customer to improve existing processes and implement new processes across all site collections

Web Administration

  • Provides Tier 1-2 support of IIS Sites on Microsoft Server 2012, 2016 and 2019

  • Troubleshoot web.config configurations, SSL configurations, SSL Certificates, IIS site permissions and configurations

  • Migrating sites between servers

Required Skills:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience working with SharePoint

  • CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification

  • Experience with InfoPath and SharePoint Designer to create and manage workflows

  • Experience with solutions leveraging SharePoint content types, columns, web parts, features, page layouts, and managed metadata.

  • Experience HTML, CSS and JavaScript to support SharePoint sites

  • System configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGs

Optional/Desired Skills:

  • 1+ years of working with IIS Web Applications

  • Experience with Nintex workflows / forms and DocAve migration tools

  • Experience troubleshooting SharePoint using ULS logs and correlation IDs

  • Creation of Webparts, Extensions, and Libraries using SharePoint Framework Extensions

  • Usage of PowerShell commands and scripts to administer SharePoint farms
