US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world challenges on a cross-functional, fast paced team.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
Manages the employee lifecycle by recruiting, selecting, orientating, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, mentoring, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations.
Provide leadership and oversight to team in a geographically separated area, regardless of portfolio or task order assignment.
Coordinate with enterprise portfolio leads to ensure that the most efficient processes are utilized for completion of required tasks to support task order or local site.
Evaluates business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
Provides technical, administrative and operational management for assigned area of responsibility, including contract and subcontractor management.
Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
Determines and defines project scope and objectives.
Collaborates with team members to ensure efficiently throughout program
Manages projects and task Order(s) in excess of $10M per year.
Works closely with the Programs Lead Project Manager, cross functional teams, and government client to develop project estimates (schedules, cost estimates, materials, services, etc.) to meet the clients requirement.
A range of projects may be assigned at a time which may include coordination with various engineering teams, vendors and other non GDIT contract personnel.
Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical
5+ years of directly related project management experience
Must possess and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
PMP Certification required. If absent, must obtain within 12 months of hire.
Task order management experience
Experience applying Agile methodologies to project management
