Job Description

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a TACP ASOC Subject Matter Expert to work as a trainer and Product Owner in support of WARHAWK, an Air Support Operations Center (ASOC)/Tactical Operations Center (TOC) Command and Control (C2) application. The software solution provides capabilities for data communications, targeting, and battlespace awareness supporting Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), TOC, and ASOC digitally aided C2 and Close Air Support (CAS) operations.

Trainer: Candidates are expected to develop and maintain the training plan and training material for the WARHAWK system. The candidate will provide onsite training to end users at identified locations, at units or the TACP User Engagement Site (UES).

Product Owner: The tailored Agile DevSecOps software development process uses two week sprints, includes features of Scrum and Kanban, and leverages a CI pipeline. Candidates are expected to collaborate with development teams and government stakeholders to refine requirements and acceptance criteria and ensure those requirements and acceptance criteria are met as a part of our definition of done. The candidate will largely be the voice of the users for the development team, ensuring usability of developed requirements.


  • TACP experience working within the ASOC

  • BA/BS, (or equivalent) and 10+ years' experience

  • Experience with agile development, in particular as a Product Owner, would be a tremendous benefit, though is not required.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
