GDIT seeks candidates experienced in developing solutions for broad IT programs. The successful candidate will perform requirements analysis, develop solution architectures at multiple abstraction layers (operational, logical, functional), and perform verification with traceability to requirements.
The candidate will be responsible for guiding an agile release train (ART) through planning to demonstration on a quarterly basis by providing architectural guidance to internal agile teams, as well as represent the voice of the customer. In addition, the successful candidate will work to mitigate risk and be responsible for reporting issues should they arise.
Required Experience:
Excellent communication and presentation skill
Ability to brief customers, partners and senior staff
Working knowledge of OMG (Object Management Group) modeling standards such as UML, SysML and UAF
Working knowledge of cloud computing, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and DevSecOps
Worked in projects, programs that utilize agile methodology
Program-level experience implementing systems engineering
Preferred Experience:
Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Certification in modeling, e.g. OCSMP (OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional)
Software development using open-source frameworks, Java and .NET
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in science or Engineering discipline with 5+ years professional experience
Post graduate degree preferred
Certification or membership in professional systems engineering organizations (e.g. INCOSE) preferred
Location:
Remote - 100% USA
Expected Travel:
10%-20%
Security Clearance:
Active SECRET or above, preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance required

The likely salary range for this position is $108,000 - $162,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
