Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Software Developer Sr. Advisor to help support the Navy’s Airborne Electronic Attack Unique Planning Component (AEA UPC) program.

As a Software Developer Sr. Advisor, for the AEA UPC program in Point Mugu, California you will be responsible to assist with development of the Next-generation Open Mission Systems (NOMS) project to replace the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS).

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Build microservices containers using REACT and JAVA Script to conform with strict product and performance requirements

  • Participate with other developers and team members using Agile methodology and following the SCRUM process

  • Managing/peer-reviewing Codebase using GIT

  • Creating use cases

  • Performing unit functional tests

Qualifications: 

  • Active DoD Secret Level DoD Security Clearance

  • Able to attain Top Secret Clearance

  • BS (or equivalent experience)

  • 8+ years experience with various software language types and frameworks, including C++/C#, .NET, Java Script, Java, HTML, CSS, React, Unix

  • Good organizational and management skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to solve complex problems in a dynamic environment

  • Exposure to SCRUM and Agile methodologies

  • Experience with DEVSECOPS

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
