GDIT is seeking a Software Developer Sr. Advisor to help support the Navy’s Airborne Electronic Attack Unique Planning Component (AEA UPC) program.
As a Software Developer Sr. Advisor, for the AEA UPC program in Point Mugu, California you will be responsible to assist with development of the Next-generation Open Mission Systems (NOMS) project to replace the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS).
In this role, a typical day will include:
Build microservices containers using REACT and JAVA Script to conform with strict product and performance requirements
Participate with other developers and team members using Agile methodology and following the SCRUM process
Managing/peer-reviewing Codebase using GIT
Creating use cases
Performing unit functional tests
Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret Level DoD Security Clearance
Able to attain Top Secret Clearance
BS (or equivalent experience)
8+ years experience with various software language types and frameworks, including C++/C#, .NET, Java Script, Java, HTML, CSS, React, Unix
Good organizational and management skills
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to solve complex problems in a dynamic environment
Exposure to SCRUM and Agile methodologies
Experience with DEVSECOPS

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
