Europe (EUR) Infrastructure Modernization Capabilities Set– Admin QA/QC Lead
GDIT has an opening for an Admin QA/QC Lead position supporting the Army in Wiesbaden, Germany. This is an Infrastructure Modernization Capability Set contract that supports Combatant Command upgrade projects and their support elements within the 2nd Signal Command span of control including but not limited to the United States (U.S.) European Command (EUCOM) and African Command (AFRICOM), United States Army Africa (USARAF) and United States Army Europe (USAREUR) Areas of Responsibility (AoR). Current operational capabilities are in need of modernization and expansion including but are not limited to Telecommunication Room (TR) modernization, Inside Plant (ISP), Outside Plant (OSP), Audio Visual (AV) Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Voice-Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), Commercial Solution for Classified (CSFC), Multiple Independent Level of Security (MILS), Video Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router/ Secure Internet Protocol Router, Installation Campus Area Network (NIPR/SIPR, ICAN) and Wireless. The end-state objective is to provide a Unified Capabilities Requirements (UCR)-compliant converged (A/V and data) capability down to the EUCOM, AFRICOM, UFARAF, USAREUR and coalition Command and Control (C2) end users.
The Admin QA/QC Lead will be responsible for providing support in the preparation of technical documents, CDRLs, and project related documentation ensuring it meets the quality standards for DoD and Army Regulations.
Position is based out of Wiesbaden, Germany with additional places of performance in England, Baltics, Italy, Israel, Balkans, Benelux Union, Turkey, and Horn of Africa.
Required Skills:
Assisting team in composing documentation supporting program administrative requirements including documents for briefings, activity summaries, award nominations, outreach documents, analysis, and/or information papers
Prepare and/or edit written and oral presentations/briefings, management reports and conduct analysis as required
Create, assimilate, and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner
Ensure the purpose, context, and document design meets the applicable standards and formatting conventions of Department of Defense and Army Regulations
Possess excellent technical writing skills and ability to peer review technical documents for grammar, content and style of writing
Produce work in a timely and accurate manner to meet short suspense’s
Have the capability to handle sensitive and complex issues with discretion and good judgment
Incorporate changes to documents
Plan sufficient time for staffing of documents to meet the prescribed schedule/suspense
Superior communications skills, both oral and written
Ability to work independently and as part of a team critical
Required Qualifications/Certifications:
Eight years experience reviewing/revising contract deliverables.
An active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, or related technical field.
