Operations Manager

Our work depends on Operations Manager joining our team to lead the Business Services Team supporting the Alabama Supercomputer Authority (ASA) and the successful execution of the contract GDIT holds with ASA.

● Manages the day-to-day operations of tasks in assigned program area including technical work, staff supervision, financial and business development activities
● Ensure that our business services team is operating at optimal efficiency

● Work with and lead the team in resolving challenges and ensuring that attention to detail is a top priority
● Work both independently, providing team leadership, and in collaboration with an amazing team of business professionals
● Customer service is of utmost importance and is a key element for success

● Use of Excel and other technology to perform business functions such as pricing, budgeting, forecasting, data analytics, etc.

● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science; Preferred degree in  Business/Finance/Accounting or other relevant field
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: General computer skills / MS Office / Excel
● Required Skills and Abilities: Written and verbal communication skills, problem solving
● Preferred Skills: Advanced Excel / Team Leadership / People Management / Financial Competence / Understanding of Information Technology Concepts / E-rate
