General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a Federal marketplace leader in next-generation IT solutions and professional services, is seeking highly qualified and motivated IT professionals like you, who are eager to manage and grow our programs with the United States Postal Service (USPS). The Sr. Program Manager will lead our Enterprise Services portfolio, responsible for the full lifecycle of the USPS' enterprise application development.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of the program from inception through completion
  • Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of the program
  • Serve as primary customer point of contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Is the authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO) and the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR)
  • Responsible for managing contract resources to deliver quality services within the scope of the contract
  • Is responsible for profit/loss on the contract
  • Provides leadership, supervision and guidance for all contractor personnel, inclusive of subcontractors/teaming partners
  • Leverages leading-edge IT solutions to improve the customer's mission effectiveness while continuously seeking opportunities to increase efficiency through improved processes and technology
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Mitigate risks, controls costs and schedule variance, and effectively manages large scale, integrated projects

Education and Experience Qualifications Sought:

  • BA/BS Degree with ten (10) years relevant experience, including five (5) years program management experience
  • PMI PMP certification
  • Experience in the direct supervision and management of multiple simultaneous enterprise application development projects with an average annual composite value of $20M or greater
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with USPS, FedEx, UPS, or DHL

This program only accepts US citizens and/or Green Card Holders. The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.
