Responsibilities

The person in this position will contribute to efforts to provide reliable software systems that deliver new capabilities. Provide full lifecycle software development to include the designing, development, testing, documenting and maintaining of software applications. Builds new software, maintains existing custom-developed software and supports COTS/GOTS software products as needed. Reviews software requirements and business requirements and plans and builds creative solutions to meet customer needs while following industry standards and best practices. Analyze, update and tune system designs to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks.

Provides full-stack .Net development while working in a SCRUM environment with a team of talented software engineers, product owners, database administrators and testers. Design, engineer and build new web, client/server and mobile applications to provide creative solutions to meet customer needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Requires a strong working knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Requires a good working knowledge of relational databases
  • Must be able to interpret specifications and requirements, troubleshoot and create software solutions
  • Detail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work
  • Innovative, and always looking for ways to integrate new technology to solve problems and fill in capability gap
  • Microsoft .Net framework, C# and ASP.NET MVC (Entity Framework a plus)
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS) or other source control tools and concepts
  • JavaScript (jQuery a plus); HTML 5; CSS 3
  • Requires a good working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server
  • Familiarization with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus
  • Pursues ongoing education in technical topics
  • Good business communication skills
  • Works well as an individual and in a team environment


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
