Check out this great opportunity to join one of GDIT’s fastest long-standing growing programs!  US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.  We are seeking a Systems Administrator that can work independently – please read below!

This position is in support of the EUCOM and AFRICOM Areas of Responsibility. This position will support the day-to-day actions of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program to include Travel and Expense Report processing.
  • Writes and updates standard operating procedures for local Program Administrative support processes.
  • Develops plans and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for Employees in assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR)
  • Coordinates with other team members to provide enterprise support as needed.
  • Interacts regularly with program employees and customers to ensure conformance with corporate, program and customer requirements.
  • Serves as liaison between program employees and host base support units.
  • Maintain and update host country processes and requirements to ensure compliance by all employees.
  • Acts as primary POC for support to new employees during all phases of in-processing.
  • Provides out-processing support for employees leaving the site. May perform business development activities.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Must have effective organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite – specifically Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint desired.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related business/program analysis experience.
  • BA/BS Degree in Business, Communications, Public Admin or related field – may substitute additional years of experience.
  • The work environment is fast paced and requires the ability to work on multiple projects at once and the ability to reprioritize based on customer needs.
  • Must possess and maintain a US TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Familiarity or ability to learn VISA, SOFA and TESA requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with OCONUS hiring and on-boarding.
  • Demonstrated experience with Germany and Italy TESA processes.
  • Must achieve and maintain the Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) as defined in the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) between the United States and the Federal Republic of Germany. In order to qualify for TESA, the candidate must have one of the following: Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of specialized experience, OR an Associate's degree plus 7 years of specialized experience, OR A major certification plus 7 years of specialized experience, OR; 11 years of specialized experience.
