CITS (Communication and Information Technology Services) provides the full spectrum of enterprise communications and information technology services to support the critical missions of United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) and the United States European Command (USEUCOM). GDIT’s footprint across the globe in supporting every combatant command provides the EUCOM and AFRICOM J6 leadership the unique opportunity to leverage our worldwide workforce and advanced technology integration experience to accelerate modernization and reduce technical complexity necessary to support the growing and dynamic missions of these two Commands.
The Cybersecurity Lead manages and leads the overall cybersecurity related activities and processes to include planning, execution, and reporting for the Command. This role is responsible for the overall security of networks and service owner for all services and solutions related to cybersecurity and tracking the implementation of key cybersecurity alignment projects across the enterprise.
The Cybersecurity Lead is responsible for:
Assuring compliance and reducing cyber risk across the enterprise by supporting the Government organization and assisting Government personnel in understanding their role in protecting assets of the Command
Develops and implements strategic, technical, and operational security/infrastructure controls that are properly aligned with business or program goals and objectives
Develops, maintains, and prioritizes cybersecurity efforts and oversees cyber project costs and feasibility
Provides cybersecurity recommendations and feedback across all activities to ensure compliance
Continually assesses current cybersecurity technologies and assesses applicability to customer requirements
Required Experience
At least 15 Years’ Work Experience, including at least 5 Years’ DoD experience
At least 10 Years’ Experience leading compliance activities, security patching, compiling RMF documentation, achieving ATOs of a year or longer in duration, and developing and maintaining POA&Ms.
At least 5 Years’ Experience leading DoD risk management activities including implementation of RMF and support for required inspections and audits.
Proficiency in RMF tools and processes utilizing DoD and customer tools such as eMASS, ACAS, HBSS, etc.
Experience in securing data across multiple types of security boundaries in both NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments.
Lead and guide matrixed project teams to implement cybersecurity in a high op tempo environment for each AOR
Experience in managing accreditations and certifications that cross multiple DoD organizations.
Experience with Cybersecurity Appliances and Tools (Network security monitoring tools, encryption tools, web vulnerability scanning tools, firewall
It is desired that candidate have:
Multiple CyberSecurity-related, network or cloud technology certifications
Experience with CyberSecurity in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, etc.)
Experience with Zero Trust, ICAM (Identity, Credential and Access Management) and other Cybersecurity technical advances
Experience providing CONUS and OCONUS support
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
One Level III certification (IAM III, CISSP), as defined in DoD 8570.01-M and required by DoDD 8140.01.
One or more cybersecurity-related, network or cloud technology certifications
A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, etc. or related field
Current TS/SCI Security Clearance
Ability to live in Stuttgart Germany for a min of 1 year.
