We are working to deliver and operationalize information technology (IT) services for all USSOUTHCOM combatant command constructed networks. These constructed networks span the USSOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). Work performed under this Task Order directly provides USSOUTHCOM a defensible, secure, modern, and efficient IT infrastructure across all combatant command constructed networks.
We have an opportunity for a Tier 1 Service Desk Technician to work in support of SOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).
The Service Desk Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software using remote access tools.
Provides end-user software and hardware troubleshooting.
Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
Assists in the administration of e-mail, Microsoft office, etc.
Provides remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
AA degree (or equivalent combination of experience, training and education).
1+ years of experience.
IAT Level II Compliant Certification. (i.e. Security+, SSCP etc)
