General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Service Level Manager (SLM) with Cloud experience.
The key position will support GDIT’s established managed service offering in a multi-cloud environment. GDIT will deliver a MSP solution which will optimize and ensure continued performance excellence during the cloud migration and continued cloud operation of critical client business systems.
GDIT is seeking an SLM that has experience with cloud computing and is able to achieve continuous improvement in service delivery. This effort will culminate in an abstracted, highly transportable environment delivered to the Government, to be instantiated “virtually” on the Government’s network infrastructure. To ensure defined service levels are maintained, the cloud landscape will need to be proactively managed and the SLM will need to have regular meetings with the customers to provide updates on the Service Level achievements and obtain input into demand management requirements and Continual Service Improvements.
For this effort, GDIT will use cloud based concepts to migrate and support the Government’s critical business applications by using customer-centric and ITIL-aligned service delivery models. The application of these concepts will result in a framework for integrating commercial off-the-shelf, non-proprietary technologies to avoid “vendor-lock”. Seeking a SLM that can provide unique integration, configuration and delivery of technologies to create value-added capabilities.
Experience in cloud platforms and technologies
Experience with multi cloud environments and data integration for service level reporting
Experience with ServiceNow
Experience with cloud Service Catalogues including current services and services in transition.
Experience managing the Service Level Management Process
Experience with monitoring and measuring the achievements of the IT organization in comparison with the SLAs
Experience with SLAs & KPI/Metrics
Experience with large complex programs providing ITIL service delivery management
Experience working in Agile teams
Active DOD Secret Clearance
Certifications with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure
Education and Experience
ITIL Expert certification
8+ years of experience
May be required to attend planning events or to work from a secured location
