Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manage software developers, system engineers, and network engineers engaged in the design, architecture, deployment and maintenance of a wide variety of platforms and systems for areas including identity and access management, office productivity, and workflow management.
  • Maintain current and advanced knowledge of progressive and advancing technology as assigned.
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced teammates, and act as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
  • Develop and administer detailed project plans which include schedule and performance requirements.
  •  Review and prioritize needs and analyze project costs and feasibility.
  • Provide business strategy, solution development and technical guidance to develop business solutions that align with available technologies and commercial cloud services.
  • Analyze customer requirements and provide highly innovative technical expertise in identity and access management, office productivity, and workflow management platforms.
  • Consult with executives and customers to understand business requirements and propose innovative technical solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: A Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, information systems, or a related field required; a Master’s degree preferred. 

● Required Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in developing and maintaining applications and systems, including implementing SaaS offerings such as ServiceNow and Microsoft365.

● Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in DevSecOps toolchains; experience with JIRA, Confluence, Git; skill in implementing complex business requirements using commercial SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow, Microsoft365, or other ERP solutions.

● Security Clearance Level: Must be able to pass a government agency background check.

● Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to evaluate and define metrics to improve performance
  • Skilled in working with multi-functional teams to automate processes
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently and collaboratively to meet requirements in a dynamic team environment
  • Project management expertise

● Timeline: This position is being posted contingent on contract award or funding. It is expected to start in September of 2023.

● Location: A hybrid work schedule based in San Antonio, Texas.
