Network Administration

Secret Clearance (SSBI)

Kaiserslautern Germany

The Contractor shall install and configure USAREUR NIPRnet network switches, VoIP equipment, and perform daily network administration for all networks providing NIPRnet data and voice services. The Contractor shall provide O&M and network administration of the associated NIPRnet and other network equipment located in the communications facility. 

Cyber Security
Contractor shall secure and defend the EUR-network IAW DoD, DA and Theater policies and guidelines. 

Network Accreditation
The Contractor shall ensure installation or expansion for network devices comply with local installation security requirements, including physical requirements, network (hardware/software) requirements. The Contractor shall operate and maintain the LANs. The Contractor shall ensure the Network Cable Plant Management

The contractor shall manage patch cables inside telecommunications rooms, maintaining a properly dressed communications cabinet.

A current 8570 IAT II certification is required before TESA application will be submitted and must be maintained as a condition of employment. 

An ITIL Certification is required within 6 months of start.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
