As an Administrative Assistant III, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Managing the administrative workflow and day-to day activities of a work unit to include maintaining a schedule of appointments, monitoring email, and telephones for the Chief and other officers in the department
Maintaining the calendar of 1-3 senior managers on a day to day basis
Initiating and monitoring check-in/out procedures for personnel, including submitting new user accounts and access requests on a regular basis and will send status reports of the actions to management groups within the office
Arranging travel, coordinate itineraries, or otherwise support travel for the Chief and other staff within the department, including passport/visa requirements
Responsibilities include: ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, issue equipment, providing basic trouble-shooting and arranging for equipment repairs, oversee and account for inventory of offices supplies and equipment
The bulk of the responsibilities are administratively transactional and the AA will be asked to be proactive, resourceful, and a positive individual that is able to represent their primary department to visitors of all levels of seniority
No travel is required for this position
The AA should be able to perform back-up duties for other offices within the work unit to ensure administrative support coverage
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Core hours are expected to be at minimum of 0900-1500 with flexibility around those times for arrival/departure
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
This position is on customer site
