GDIT is seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure Service Delivery Program Manager to support our customers in the Washington DC metro area.
This position manages the Enterprise Operations and is responsible for the day-to-day management and accountability of the infrastructure, to include, Network Engineering, Network Operations Center, Servers and Storage, and Disaster Recovery.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
Responsible for the day-to-day middle management and accountability of the infrastructure, to include, Network Engineering, Network Operations Center, Servers and Storage, and Disaster Recovery.
Responsible for ensuring SLAs are achieved, analyzed and reported
Responsible for determining and acquiring resources to perform the related scope of work within the respective area
Ability to directly interface with customer management counterparts to provide status updates, address issues and provide support for escalation if needed
Assist with defining program governance requirements and subsequently review performance objectives to determine if they have been designed and established to comply with established standards.
Provide reports and metrics to GDIT and customer management for compliance and performance
Manage and respond to data calls and other IT service requests
Ability to analyze and assess problem situations to support the planning, design and implementation of suitable solutions
Serve as a liaison between multiple internal and customer divisions
Formulate standard operational procedures for inter-divisional communications, recommending improvements as necessary
Conduct technical policy and contract reviews as requested and advise the Senior Management accordingly
Provide recommendations to Senior Management.
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance
At least 8 years of related management experience with an emphasis on Data Centers, Servers, Storage and Network programs and/or projects, including mission critical programs, IT systems implementation and solution development.
At least 5 years of proven experience managing a program delivering Enterprise Infrastructure Support Services across multiple locations.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
In depth knowledge of Program governances and contract deliverable maintenance.
Knowledge of change control and change management process, project management, and Business Management Policy
Experience conducting analysis and providing recommendations on new or existing business process capabilities
Experience with the Federal government
Good communication and presentation skills at all organization levels
It would be great if you also had:
ITIL certification
PMP certification is highly preferred
Other qualifications include:
Excellent communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues relevant to business operations.
Ability to balance and prioritize work
