The Senior Systems Engineer is a strong, self-motivated, solution-oriented individual who will be joining an experienced team to support the implementation and sustainment of multiple networks. We are looking for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic systems engineer to join us in delivering high quality IT systems.

Responsibilities:

·       Provide input to briefings, transitioning concepts to execution, course of action (COA) development, and assisting in project technical planning and implementation.

·       Develop standard operation procedures (SOPs) and system documentation.

·       Collaborate with managers, network engineers, team members, and customer on solutions and issues.

·       Review, analyze, and verify current security configuration and effectiveness in response to DoD requirements and emerging threats.

·       Achieve and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.

·       Provide tier II support in identifying, analyzing and resolving problems.

·       Continuous improvement mindset to ensure quality of delivered services.

·       Participate in special projects as assigned.

·       May be required to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required

·       The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of materials, boxes or equipment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1.    BA/BS degree and minimum of five (5) years’ experience in building, maintaining and supporting Microsoft and RHEL technologies and related platforms with all or some of the following: Active Directory configuration and management, Certificate Services, ICAM, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Exchange, PowerShell, SharePoint, SQL, ADFS, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.

2.    Additional experience may be considered to substitute degree requirement.

3.    A thorough understanding of infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS, and connectivity troubleshooting.

4.    A demonstrated strong working knowledge of Microsoft and Virtual infrastructure technologies.

5.    Must obtain and maintain an Active TS/SCI clearance.

6.    BA/BS may substitute additional years of experience.

7.    Must be IAT level II compliant with DoD 8570.1.

8.    ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation within six months of hire.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1.    Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).

2.    Experience with Dell VxRail technologies.

3.    Experience with RHEL and MS identity services.

4.    Experience with Dell Data Protection Suite.

5.    Experience with CSfC encryption.
