GDIT is seeking a Cyber Integration Engineering Associate. This can be a remote position.

The Cyber Integration Engineer Associate inside GDIT's Cyber Threat and Information Sharing Center. You will design and evaluate end-to-end systems through their entire life cycle and will ensure products and systems comply with requirements and customer information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs tasks and activities associated with integrating components of cyber defense (Splunk / ThreatConnect / Zeek) in order to automate the exchange of indicators of compromise (IOCs)
  • Improves network design/implementation, operations, and user support.
  • Organizes Cyber objectives and approaches of systems design, development, integration and test approach within project teams, and participates in the system requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and test activities.
  • Serves as a team member with responsibility for analysis of problems requiring technical and engineering expertise.
  • Ensures that the network complies with prescribed industry, customer, or agency standards.
  • Prepares and performs presentations at technical interchange meetings and project design reviews.

Required QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using Python programming to integrate devices such as Threat Connect and Splunk.
  • BA/BS degree in cyber engineering or similar discipline or A.S. + 2 years relevant exp or 4 years of relevant technical experience
  • Experience automating daily tasks to improve efficiencies using Python or other scripting languages
  • Experience troubleshoot programming and integration issues and outages
