GDITs Military Health team is hiring a Sr Project Analyst to support IT virtual events the Continuing Education Program Office for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) located in Silver Spring, MD.

The Continuing Education Program Office leads a standardized, high value education and training across the Military Health System (MHS).  The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Education & Training Directorate (J7) Continuing Education Program Office (CEPO) is charged with executing the complex, dynamic mission of leading the Department of Defense (DoD) in education and training, coordination, and collaboration.

Required

  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision in completing technical tasks.
  •  Performs research, analysis, development, and evaluation of programs, systems, and procedure in assigned functional area.
  • Analyzes and defines problems and researches possible solutions that afford maximum probability for success and effectiveness.
  • Prepares high level leadership reports, briefings, and project management tracking; report outcomes to the Government Customer, if applicable.
  • Prepares, reviews, and researches technical information for contract deliverables and ensures accuracy of information reported; adheres to standards of quality.
  • Conduct analyses to measure event effectiveness and define process & quality improvement event processes and outcomes, as well as support project management phases such as planning, execution and result monitoring.
  • Creates leadership trackers and finalizes assigned documentation and/or taskers for all appropriate parties.  Prepares all accreditation documents and status reports. 
  • Supports project management phases such as planning, execution and result monitoring for all accreditation activities.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining policies relating to department operations regarding Continuing Education/Continuing Medical Education Programs.
  • Provides technical and administrative support to assigned tasks.
  • Identifies best practices as they relate to virtual learning events.
  • Identify areas for process improvement in current practice and assist in mitigating any risks. 
  •  Prepare findings in a concise high level manner and suggest ways in which to apply these changes.
  • Assist in and/or serve as back up in monitoring and downloading metrics from learning management system.
  •  Ensure all documentation and information disseminated to the team and customer has gone through a vigorous quality control review.
  • Upload reports, deliverables, and documents to the SharePoint website and disseminate information to team members as requested.
  • Attend meetings with all key stakeholders to determine reporting needs and provide specific reports based on their criteria, back briefing the customer and team when necessary.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the events schedule, updates the official events calendar in collaboration with each functional area, and disseminate to team members weekly.
  • Produce reports, briefing slides, talking points, supplemental information relevant to customer needs for reporting to senior leadership.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Prepares status report of all support studies and analysis projects, continuing education, accreditation activities in process.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 + years’ experience performing research, analysis, development, and evaluation of programs, systems, and procedure in assigned functional area.
  • Experience preparing high level leadership reports, briefings, and project management tracking.
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and researching technical information for contract deliverables and ensures accuracy of information reported; adheres to standards of quality
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a favorable NACLC T3 security investigation.

Preferred

  • Masters in Business Administration, Financial Management, or related degree; to include equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Experience working in military/government environment.
  • Experience in Process Improvements and Risk Analysis.
  • Experience with functional analysis and business case analysis projects.
  • Familiar with CE/CME accreditations.
  • Experience as a technical or policy writer for Government Agencies.
  • Expertise in flow chart and other program management diagrams.

Skills

  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Proficient with Visio and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products.
