Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide mid-high level expertise in information modeling, requirement analysis and facilitation using methodologies and statistical knowledge/techniques. 
  • Prepare data modeling and standardization.
  • Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of re-design the DHIS SharePoint site.
  • Perform analysis to develop fully attributed logical information (data) and business process models following Integrated Definition (IDEF) methodologies. 
  • Gather requirements using JAD facilitation techniques in order to collect and define data.
  • Process requirements necessary to support client/server or web-based applications.
  • Use modeling tools and repositories to effectively and efficiently define data and business process requirements. 
  • Design relational database schemas for large-scale client/server or web-based applications that reside on database management system.
  • Prepare deliverables in an iterative fashion that are reviewed until production ready and provided within the time frames defined by appropriate personnel.
  • Develop and apply organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software and database management systems.
  • Performs budget duties in areas such as cost estimating, procurement strategic planning and execution or business management.
  • Performs budget functions on CDC financial and accounting systems to include but not limited to Integrated Resource Information System (IRIS), IRIS Budget and Performance Integration User Guide (BPI) and Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or Mathematics, 2 plus years experience.
  • R Programming and Jupyter experience preferred
