At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Customer Services and Information Technology Officer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to act as the message addressing and support coordinator shall be customer focused, working independently supporting the different departments coordinating Organizational messaging activities and functions. In this role, a typical day will include:
Working on a team comprised of a wide variety of experienced personnel that provide coverage from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Resolving technical problems and answering queries by telephone or self-service that involve computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.
Providing basic user training in support of off the shelf applications and office products.
Performing remote desktop triage and system repair using remote tools.
Maintaining and updating records and tracking databases.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Minimum of 5 years related experience.
Technical Skills: Experience with active directory, Windows 7 and/or 10, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong skills in hardware/application troubleshooting.
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users.
Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
