Logistics Analyst | Top Secret clearance

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Logistics Analyst, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Logistics Analyst joining our JSP ETM-NG (Joint Service Provider Enterprise Transport Management - Next Gen) team at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

Due to the nature of work this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.

HOW OUR LOGISTICS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Contributes and may provide guidance to the completion of logistics projects.  

• Performs demand forecasting and distribution planning.

• Identifies complex logistics opportunities for process improvements, inventory reductions, and cost savings.

• Writes and edits the logistics policy and procedures.

• Conducts visual inventory inspections of deployed networking assets (some assets are located in the ceilings requiring use of a ladder).

• Maintains accurate inventory records.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret

• Required Experience: 5+ years of Logistics experience

• Education: High School Diploma

• Required Skills and Abilities: Must be able to lift at least 50lb. Familiar with the use of a pallet jack (powered as well as non-powered). Must be able to work in a Team Environment with excellent customer service. Must have good communication skills with team members as well as the customers.

• Location: Arlington, VA - onsite at the Pentagon.
