The duties of the AA are transactional in nature and include making and receiving telephone calls, capturing detailed messages, picking up and delivering mail and faxes and assisting applicants with completing SF-86 forms. The duties require discretion and a medium level of autonomy. The AA will interact with the Customer on a daily basis, providing information and updates as required. The AA will be a team player, working with a team of contractors and Customers. The AA will interact with mid-level personnel on a daily basis. The AA is required lo have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The AA will be required to work the core hours of 0900 to 1500 (N/A during COVID-19). No TDY travel is required.
The AA must be comfortable conducting database searches. completing data entry, and performing other tasks using various databases/programs/applications and equipment including but not limited to COGNOS. Sponsor Hiring Systems, have basic knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, Word. Internet, scanner, telephone (Including sponsor specific phone systems). and following any Sponsor Directorate related guidance in place for recruiting. Any applicable training needed will be provided by the Customer.
The AA will open mail and log into Sponsor Hiring system all employment offer documentation from applicants and provide to the Program Officers. AA will pick up signed 3778 forms from sponsor onboarding department and arrange priority shipments and assist in preparation of applicant packages. The volume of work varies from week to week but if there is an unusually heavy volume, others in the office will pitch in the help out.
The AA will assist reviewing SF-86 forms for completeness and to ensure they were correctly filled out.
The AA will monitor FedEx supplies and report needs to the Chief. AA will report issues with phone system or Sponsor computer equipment in detail to the group Chief.
