For the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), GDIT provides enterprise IT services for DHS’s biometric identity management system (IDENT) and the Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) to store, match, share, and analyze biometric and biographic data in support of DHS’s strategic mission. GDIT’s O&M services support break-fix of current OBIM functional capabilities, as well as security remediation activities and developmental engineering (such as prototyping new code or configurations of OBIM functionality). GDIT is looking for an Information Assurance/Cybersecurity Specialist to serve under the guidance of the Security Manager for a large, complex task order. The successful candidate will directly support the program's Account Management and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) activities to ensure secure enterprise Operations and Maintenance. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Create, modify and manage user/computer accounts, policies, security groups, sites, and services in Active Directory
Create, configure, and troubleshoot GPOs
Administer AD servers for multiple systems in a multi-domain environment
Conduct security audits and review based on Security Hardening Guides & Policies
Work directly with engineering and operations teams in resolving security related issues.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
U.S. citizenship
DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
Experience with Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems
Experience with authentication methods and access control mechanisms
Ability to analyze vulnerability scan results for security control patch compliance

Desired Skills/Qualifications:
Degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field of study
8+ yrs of relevant experience
Familiarity with DHS Security Policies
Understanding of networking, VLAN/IP Addressing/Protocols 
Strong experience with Active Directory/Domain Services 
Experience with Power Shell
Experience with Tenable Security Center/Nessus tool
Experience with MicroFocus ArcSight/Splunk audit tools
Experience with Quest Authentication Services 
Experience with CA PAM privileged account management
