Our work depends on a experienced Continuous Monitoring Program Specialist’s joining our team to support our Client’s activities in the Annapolis Junction area.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Transition Manager you will transition multiple IT support Technical Task Orders (TTOs) into a single IT support contract managed by GDIT. The individual should be a self-started, innovative, with hands-on experience transitioning large-scale IT support contracts. This work will involve the development, planning, schedule, and implementation of the program transition strategy and plan.
Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.
Establishes goals and plans that meet program objectives.
Execute Transition-In Plan, following task order award and evaluate performance results to recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
Conducts daily transition stand-ups with the PMO team, relevant TTO staff and Corporate Support
Reviews the modification, conducts the initial gap analysis, recommends changes as necessary, and begins a transition-in process.
Develop transition plan, reports, and administrative reporting.
Manage risk and maintains the track log process.
Attend customer meetings.
Coordinate development of deliverables and products.
Ensure quality assurance of deliverables.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
8+ years of related technical experience.
