Job Description
GDIT is currently seeking a Cyber Penetration Tester at JBSA-Lackland, TX to support the AFCOTERS II contract, supporting the 67th Cyber Wing (67 CW), 346th Test Squadron (346 TS), and the 318th Range Squadron (318 RANS) planning and executing a full array of operational tests of various cyber weapons and systems.
Cyber Penetration Tester Responsibilities include:
- Conducts assessments of threats and vulnerabilities; determines deviations from acceptable configurations, enterprise or local policy; assesses the level of risk; and develops and or recommends appropriate mitigation countermeasures in operational and nonoperational situations.
- Performs assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identifies where those systems / networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
- Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities. - Collaborates to identify access and collection gaps that can be satisfied through cyber collection and or preparation activities. Leverages all authorized resources and analytic techniques to penetrate targeted networks.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Associates Degree or 5 years relevant experience
● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Certification: Current IAT Level III Certification (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP)
● Security Clearance Level: Current TS/SCI Eligible
● Location: Customer Site, JBSA-Lackland, TX
●US Citizenship Required
