Our work depends on a ETL Developer joining our team to support the Trusted Third Party (TTP) mission of fighting Fraud Waste and Abuse for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Center/Program Integrity (CPI).
This is a remote base position.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Design, code, test, debug, document, and implement changes to new and existing solutions
Perform unit testing of code to assure the delivery of a product that meets the users specifications
Provides technical advice to technical leads, assisting them with high level planning and cost justifications
Leads project efforts, ensuring project requirements and timelines are met
Work with the end user analysts developing the requirements of the Data Warehouse solution
Work with Business analysts to validate processes of test cases
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
BA/BS (or equivalent experience),
8+ years relevant experience
Experience in data manipulation language, preferably Python and SQL programming
Interest in continual learning in application development and emerging technologies
Strong communication skills, a strong team player; able to accept and deliver on ambiguous tasks
Experience working as a member of a Scrum development team
Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, fun environment
Must be able to work closely with all project stakeholders
Strong Linux, Windows and cloud command line interface (CLI) skills (AWS, Snowflake, Hive)
Experience with code promotion; development, test, production (dev, tst, prd) in CI/CD approaches
Experience in Git based repositories (Bitbucket, Code commit, Github etc.)
Job scheduler tools design and development
Development with an eye towards quality rules-based error handling and exceptions
Experience in Agile methodologies, preferably leveraging Jira & Confluence
Healthcare claims experience
Experience in data structures
SAS, Oracle, data modeling
Machine Learning Artificial Intelligence concepts, implementation, and integration
Understanding of modeling and source to target mappings
Experience developing using serverless architecture
Understanding of Kimball and Inmon data warehouse approaches
Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence)
