Lead Systems Engineer

You, as a recognized industry expert, will have the opportunity to not only contribute technical and leadership expertise on this program, but to lead teams and engineering disciplines across the business as your career grows. You will apply industry best practices and make recommendations on automation tools and capabilities to create efficiencies and reduce overall labor costs. HOW A LEAD SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Plan, direct, and manage day-to-day activities of the engineering team
Develop systems engineering processes for the planning, integration, test, configuration management, and deployment of customer applications
Provide technical services to identify, test, and document hardware and software solutions
Perform COTS hardware and software market analysis and
Propose upgrades or new hardware and software items to current programs in Engineering Change Proposals
Create status reports and briefings
Assume responsibility for engineering projects and provide input and status to the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
Represent the GDIT team in providing solutions to complex technical problems

The likely salary range for this position is $122,366 - $204,360, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
