In support of a DoD customer, the database engineer will support the architecture and engineering of databases on cloud and legacy systems.  Develop scripts to monitor database metrics.  Manage the database administrators.  Solve complex database issues.
•Maintain data repositories.
• Manage, monitor, and administer database system and performance activities.
• Plan for transition of the development and/or production environments to new technologies.
• Install upgrades and critical patch updates as they become available on both the test and production environments.
• Support database development and implementation by participating in pilot testing and providing information on changes required in the database.

Qualifications:

- TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of Firewalls

- Experience keying and upgrading software on TACLANE Crypto devices
- Must presently be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2 preferred); must be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) by date of security indoctrination with any necessary continuing education (CE) for certification

- BA/BS

- 8-10 Years of Experience
