Provide expertise with Microsoft's SCCM/MECM

Work with Microsoft's SCCM/MECM to provide user workstation baseline configuration and administration of operating systems

Leverage SCCM/MECM to provide security patches, vulnerability patches, hotfixes and other updates to user workstations and servers

Administer SCCM software delivery, including various methods such as running advertised programs, machine targeted, user targeted, Application Library, and Software Center

Manage and administer SCCM client health, including the process of getting clients healthy

Provide expertise with PowerShell for custom reporting

Develops advanced technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures

Troubleshoots highly complex system hardware and software issues

Develops training materials for end users on the proper use of hardware and software

Develops implementation plans for software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages

Perform In Place Upgrades as needed for servers and laptops

Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels

Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions

Leads efforts to ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations

Conducts advanced hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

Develops performance and security plans for computers that meet the needs of network users

Evaluates existing systems and plans long-term strategies

May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

May serve as a team or task lead

Experience with Microsoft Server 2022 is a significant plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 10+ years of experience

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline is required

MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related disciplines preferred.

DoD 8140/8570 IAT III compliance required

Position requires an active TS and SCI eligibly
