GDIT is looking for a Technical Lead/Architect to support National Institute of Health ( NIH), National Heart Lung and Blood Institute ( NHLBI) custom software portfolio. The Technical Lead/Architect will deliver innovative solutions for improving the effectiveness, reach, and content of these existing software solutions, while reducing their technical debt through both individual contributions and providing guidance to other members of the development team.
This role requires an understanding of how to improve existing code bases while ensuring they continue to deliver value to organizations. The Technical Lead/Architect will have a strong understanding of industry trends and using agile methodologies for development and deployment processes, and can propose and advocate for improvements to the codebase. You will provide team and developer guidance to improve overall productivity.
You will be responsible for working across the software life-cycle, with an emphasis on design and development. You will contribute as developer to all parts of the application and testing stack. You will work collaboratively with the team to best realize system requirements in the Spring Boot framework, and when appropriate provide custom implementations to create a compelling experience for system users.
