At GDIT, people are our differentiator. In this role, a typical day will include:
Responsible for the timeliness and quality of all contract and SDLC deliverables associated with assigned releases and or IV&V tasks.
Manage risks, perform mitigations, and track issues to resolution.
Responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating SDLC documentation such as Software Requirement Specifications, Software Master Test Plans, and Software Modification Orders.
Examines supplier-provided documents prepared during the software development process to ensure technical accuracy, readability, and completeness.
Provide recommended changes to satisfy documentation requirements, project objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsible for ensuring software requirements completely identify the functionality for the system and that all requirements have thoroughly been tested.
Responsible for observing testing, understanding how testing is conducted, and reporting results.
Responsible for writing technically accurate, detailed, readable, and complete documents, including but not limited to Software Test Reports and Technical Analysis Reports (TAR).
Track releases for process compliance and for achieving deliverables on schedule.
Stay informed of and drive the appropriate application of IEEE standards and templates.
Responsible for planning, monitoring, tracking, and reporting progress in written and verbal forms to stakeholders at multiple levels.
Responsible for effectively collaborating across many stakeholders in an integrated environment.
Attend technical meetings.
Provide peer reviews to others as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of professional experience
Quality assurance in a software development environment
Reviewing, verifying, and validating SDLC documentation
Ensuring requirements traceability throughout all SDLC documentation including test cases and test results
Writing technical reports that are technically accurate, complete, and correct

The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days. We can only accept Green Card Holders or US Citizens for this program.
