Supports training for program personnel to support the team’s unique operational needs. Prepares and/or conducts training programs, teaches classes, holds seminars and discussion groups. Designs, develops, organizes and delivers training programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Creates teaching outline in conformance with selected instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of training methods.Responsibilities include:
  • understand S2025 contractual requirements, specifications, and characteristics related to courseware design, development and delivery
  • work with project team leads to determine team training gaps and identify solutions
  • develop and maintain an internal training calendar
  • develop and maintain internal training materials, and reinforce template standardization
  • develop and facilitate internal training activities for employee initial and refresher training to improve production team work methods, processes, and tools
  • coordinate other instructors/speakers/special guests as needed to fill knowledge/skill gaps
  • support Tech Team in documenting processes, templates, and job aids, as needed
  • support QA Team in reviewing and revising quality processes and checklists to maximize efficiency and ensure quality outputs
  • help to facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams
  • Note: responsibilities will NOT include training on GDIT HR-related topics (company orientation, benefits, etc.)
Requirements include:
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience supporting courseware production for large-scale programs in a fast-paced environment:
  • Experience in facilitating training events as instructor, coach, or mentor
  • Experience running training sessions in a virtual (Skype/Teams) environment, including maintaining student attention and appropriate use of technology to ensure knowledge transfer
  • Working knowledge of Navy courseware requirements and environments
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Content Planning Module (CPM) and AIM Learning Object Module (LOM) development tools

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience

The likely salary range for this position is $64,000 - $96,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
