At GDIT, our employees are driven, resourceful, and unwavering. As a Senior Information Systems Manager supporting our customer, you will be trusted with a variety of different responsibilities Including:
Manages information systems professionals directly or through subordinate managers/supervisors.
May manage the development of policies and procedures and ensures their conformance with the departments goals and company/customer objectives.
Manages the development and administration of schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
Manages and prioritizes information systems needs and analyzes project costs and feasibility.
Keeps well-informed of new technologies and industry best practices and trends and then plans and advises for implementation.
Oversees ordering process to effectively and economically meet objectives.
Manages vendor relationships and billing reconciliations.
Provides guidance and solutions to ensure the information systems needs align with the strategic departmental initiatives.
Manages or supervises a medium to large team or department of multiple disciplines. Medium to High Complexity.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
BA/BS
5+ years of experience
Current Top Secret and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
