GDIT was awarded the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract.  We are providing knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 JSF Virtual Enterprise (JVE) network in support of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training. 

 

We are currently seeking a Graphics Specialist, Media Developer

Job Duties:

  • Produces graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, presentations, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites and CD-ROMs/DVDs.

  • Edit videos and burning to a DVD with navigable menu for set-top DVD players. 

  • Generates, manipulates, and integrates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video generated with automated tools into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs. 

  • Visually tells a story using photojournalism techniques. 

  • Knowledge of broadcast journalist techniques is required to conduct media training for senior leadership. 

  • Analyzes user requirements and delivers whole system solutions, including hand-on experience gathering requestor inputs and creating concepts in a clear and concise manner for the non-technical viewer.  The designs are often required to provide final products for high-level program briefs.  The developer should be capable of supporting large formats as well as mass duplication printing and binding if requested. 

  • Applies knowledge of documentation content and format standards to prepare, edit, and publish graphical user notifications or other publications. 

Minimum Education Required:

BA/BS degree in Mass Communication, Video/Film Production, Photography, or related audiovisual field.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Four (4) years of graphic design experience in a related field.  Experienced in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Studio, PC and Mac operating systems, photojournalism techniques, cinematography, digital video file conversion, graphic design and still photography. 
  • Minimum of three (3) years of directly applicable experience in producing audio and visual aids in support of program briefs and user interface requirements.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of directly applicable experience as a videographer and photographer.

Security Clearance:  Secret clearance.
