Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop business information processing systems. Coordinates with business and technology teams.
Serves as SME for Physical Security Programs and Policies supporting USAREUR OPM-IACS.
Responsible for document development, review, and compliance with appropriate Physical Security regulations/policies.
Assist the Government in assessing physical security performance, evaluates proposals for the migration of existing functionality, and making recommendations for corrections and enhancements based on policy/procedures. Coordinates with other activities to evaluate adherence to policies.
Monitors and facilitates physical security policies of IACS systems.
As directed by the Government, perform analysis, provide recommendations, and prepare and provide planning documentation for Government approval.
Participate in meetings as required by the Government to include attending conferences; technical interchange seminars; interoperability meetings, and Government briefings related to IACS Physical Security systems.
Coordinate project actions and providing technical advisory services to the USAREUR OPM.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; professional training or work experience
8-10 years of related experience in Cybersecurity administration.
1. IAT Level II certification required (Security + or equivalent) at time of hire.
2. Must be well versed on AE 190-16. Installation Access Control, AR 190-13. Army Physical Security Program, DD Manual 5200.08, Vol 3, and Physical Security Program: Access to DOD Installations
3. This position may occasionally require some physical activity; lifting objects; bending; crouching down (i.e. to troubleshoot equipment); and long periods of sitting.
4. Must pass Germany TESA requirements.
5. ITIL Foundation required within 90 days of hire.
Desired background in counter-terrorism (CT) or force protection (FP) related activities, including biometric enrollment, screening/vetting, watchlisting, and threat analysis using a myriad of tools and databases.
