HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Plan and coordinate training documentation for information technology capability.
  • Design and develop classroom and on-site training for one or more application systems.
  • Supports the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
  • Work across multiple technical and non-technical domain in a fast paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Required Experience: 15+ years
  • Required Technical Skills:
  • User and LDAP group management.
  • Provide consulting services to technical operational and engineering teams.
  • Provide liaison services for multiple customer stakeholders. Experience mentoring and directing colleagues.
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise IT training courses and prepares appropriate IT training.
  • Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars and/or computer based/computer aided training for uniquely developed organizational applications.
  • Provide Tier I support for and helpdesk support for information technology system.
  • Have experience with meeting and scheduling small to large groups numbering 120 or more people during a single training session. 
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Capable of training individuals one on one as required.
  • Troubleshoot and identify application user-based issues.
  • Perform data management and coordination activities.
  • Provide Quality Assurance Testing for application releases.
  • Location: On Customer Site: Herndon, VA
