Computer Engineer

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Computer Engineer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to engineer support to a standalone system. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Server and workstation maintenance to include virus updates, OS patches, etc.
  • C2S/AWS knowledge to include EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, VPC
  • Build, administer and maintain Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016,
  • Maintain Clonezilla, Lotus Notes
  • Update routing tables
  • Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience.
  • Technical Skills: PowerShell and Batch file scripting, Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 , Linux, Networking protocols, troubleshoot and replace parts on workstations, server, and laptops, Cisco router command line, C2S/AWS experience.
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
